A photo exhibition featuring photo series by Anil Cizmecioglu was held in Istanbul on October 2-17.

Photo series depicted hard life of the Armenian emigrants of Turkey. The Turkish photographer tried to convey his impressions with photos called “My name is person”.

“After collapse of the Soviet Union, Armenia was suffering crisis. Unemployment rate went up, people started moving to other countries to earn their living. Armenians arriving in Istanbul started working at factories, became handicraftsmen and babysitters,” Turkish Bianet website writes.
