On October 28, the leader of Strong Turkey Party (GTP) Tuna Beklevic and General Coordinator of Society and Democracy Association Baybars Orsek will organize “Open the border for future of Armenia and Turkey” conference in Yerevan

The conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Armenia Marriott Hotel.

Analytical Center for Globalization and Regional Cooperation, chaired by political scenarist Stepan Grigoryan, supports the conference.

As NEWS.am reported previously, on October 10, the Turkish mass media disseminated information that Leader of Strong Turkey Party (GTP) Tuna Beklevic with his party fellows crossed the Armenia-Turkey border along the River Akhuryan and entered Armenia.

Later Deputy Chief of Border Service, Russian Federal Security Service, Colonel Andrey Guzeyev told NEWS.am refuted the reports on Turkish politicians’ crossing the state border.

The GTP leader has introduced a new initiative-establishment of Society of Turkish-Armenian friendship.

The party of Tuna Beklevic announced that the society is created on the occasion of anniversary of the Armenian-Turkish protocols signed in Zurich. The organization’s goal is to reconcile two countries and show their inseparability and significance for each other. According to GTP leader, organization already comprises 500 members.
