On Friday evening, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu made a statement in connection with Armenia.

Çavuşoğlu said he again calls on Armenia to set up a joint history commission, according to Vatan daily of Turkey.

“Let everyone open their archives,” stated the Turkish FM. “Let scholars come from various countries and participate in discussions of history.”

In addition, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu accused the Gülen movement—led by US-based Turkish cleric Fethullah Gülen—of collaborating with the Armenians, and against Turkey.
