YEREVAN. - A march on the occasion of the Feast of St. Sarkis kicked off from Yerevan’s Mashtots Avenue Saturday. Thousands of people marched towards the Lovers’ Park.
The march is headed by St. Sarkis, who is riding a horse. He is followed by the priests of Ararat Patriarchal Diocese, servicemen, police offices and a large number of faithful.
Great number of law enforcement officers controls the march.
