Armenia and Turkey are exercising silent diplomacy, Turkish President Abdullah Gul stated before receiving Chatham House Prize 2010, Milliyet daily reports.
Responding to a journalist’s question Turkish President wins Chatham House Prize 2010 for Armenia-Turkey rapprochement, however there are no developments in the normalization process, Gul said Armenia-Turkey reconciliation is not frozen. "Some progress is achieved in silence,” he stressed.
It is noteworthy, Armenian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly stated at the moment Armenia and Turkey do not hold talks in any format.
