Rhode Island lawmaker, Ramon Perez found himself in the middle of a scandal after he mistakenly gave his colleagues a handout that showed open browser tabs referencing pornographic content, Fox News reported.
Perez brought printouts of a Wikipedia article to give to House Finance Committee members as part of his testimony in favor of a car accident insurance bill. But the screen shot showed multiple browser tabs with pornographic content. No pornographic images could be seen.
The lawmaker, who submitted a new handout the next day, said the screen shot was provided to him by a friend whom he'd asked to research the information.
