Working day has been reduced in the Czech Republic due to extreme heat.

According to representative of the Ministry of Commerce and Manufacturing, Kotrba František, the hot weather started in the Czech Republic since the end of last week.

The air temperature in shade is 33-35 degrees, RIA Novosti reports.

Managers of many local companies and offices thus decided to reduce the working day by several working hours. This first and foremost concerns the workers, whose offices lack conditioners. They were allowed to go home 2.5 hours earlier. Workers of a number of ministries worked only half a day.
