The fact that Armenia did not withdraw its signature from Armenia-Turkey Protocols, means the Protocols are still in effect, Giro Manoyan, Head of the Hay Dat (Armenian Cause) office, ARF Dashnaktsutyun told the journalists on Friday. He recalled this was the reason ARFD withdrew from the coalition on April 22, 2009.

As for the prospects for Armenian Revolutionary Federation’s joining the coalition and cooperation with Armenian authorities during impending presidential elections, Manoyan said:

“ARFD’s joining the coalition is out of the question. On the contrary, the party decided to follow its path.  As to the cooperation with the authorities, we even worked with Armenian National Movement (ANM) in the front line. For us, an external front is as it is.  Today it may be a diplomacy, whereas tomorrow-military hostilities. It is incorrect not to cooperate,” Manoyan said.

According to him, regardless of the Armenian authorities’ positions on different matters, ARFD regards the peculiarity of all problems and is working in this direction. The recent evidence thereof was cooperation with UN, when Azerbaijan withdrew resolution on Karabakh.
