Smbat Margaryan (56kg) won the medal with a 235 kg lift in clean and jerk combination (100 kg +135 kg). It is the first medal of Armenian team in European Youth Weightlifting Championships in Eilat, Israel. The runner-up is Stanislav Shadovich (Belarus)-235 kg (107+128), bronze went to Artyom Zherebkov (Latvia)-225 kg (97+128).
Armenia is represented by ten boxers at the championship.
