At the moment there are no reasons to dissolve the National Assembly, as it should be done on constitutional basis, Rafik Petrosyan, MP of the ruling Republican Party (RPA), told the journalists, commenting on rumors saying the President intends to dissolve parliament.

“It is ruled out, as parliament is working and faces no failures while adopting laws. On the contrary, parliament has intensified activities and the number of adopted laws almost doubled as compared with the previous one,” he added.

The MP also spoke of the next parliament. According to him, RPA will poll 60% of votes, whereas Armenian Natioanl Congress and Heritage – about 15%.
