The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts recovery of the South Caucasus economy for next year. However, it will not be a happy year for Armenia and Georgia.

Serious negative indicators have been registered in Georgia and Armenia, both of which import oil and natural gas. The IMF forecasts 4-5.5 per cent economic growth in Armenia and Georgia, IMF experts say. Reducing the deficit is the greatest challenge to the Armenian and Georgian governments.

The IMF forecasts 5.7% economic growth in the South Caucasus and Central Asia countries.
