Israel should officially recognize the Armenian Genocide, but currently there are no notions that would lead to this in the coming years. An Israeli scientist Israel Chain, who is in Armenia within the framework of an international conference on genocide, particularly the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey, told reporters on Dec.14.
“Though, Israel has long recognized the Armenian Genocide on societal and cultural level, at the state level, this has not happen”, said Chain.
