Armenian Grandmaster Levon Aronian became an undisputed leader of Grand Slam 2009 in Bilbao, Spain. Playing black Aronian defeated Russian Alexander Grischuk. Both leaders had 6 points each. Due to this victory Armenian Grandmaster left behind Grischuk. It is Aronian’s third victory in the tournament.
After four rounds Aronian has 9 points, while Grischuk-6. Today Armenian Grandmaster will face Alexei Shirov, whereas Grischuk is going to play with Karjakin.
