Armenian women national team was defeated by Ukrainian chess players (1.5:2.5) in the eighth round of the World Chess Team Championship in Ningbo, China. Elina Danielyan won, Lilit Mkrtchyan ended in a draw. Lilit Galoyan and Nelli Aginyan lost. Armenian chess players scored ten points as a result, ranked fifth in standings. China 1 team became the world champion.

The final standings are as follows: China 1-12 points, Russia-12, Ukraine-12, Georgia-11, Armenia-10, Poland-10, India-9, USA-6, China 2-6 and Vietnam-2.
