Turkey has set a goal to host Olympic Games in Istanbul.

“Turkey seeks to host Olympic Games in Istanbul. It is a priority for Turkey. In this regard, we are trying to hold all World and European and championships at the highest level in our country,” Turkish Youth and Sports General Director Yunus Akgul stated at the meeting with Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov.

According to him, Turkey pays special attention to sport. The country has repeatedly hosted significant championships, Trend News reports.
