This year the finance and budget committee, RA Parliament, has discussed 28 bills. Among the priorities were the 2010 draft budget, 2010 budget performance report, as well as the bills on compulsory car insurance and insurance payments.

Committee Chairman Gagik Minasyan complained about much lower insurance payments in Armenia as compared with other countries. He also signed out the amendments to the law on auditing, which provides for statutory audit of all government agencies. The amendments are supposed to improve financial transparency of government agencies.
