On January 13, a visitor tried to commit suicide near the office of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, located on Ilinka Street, 23. The man inflicted several slash wounds in his neck and right hand. However, the security guards stopped him and called an ambulance.

As it turned out later, the victim was Armenian citizen Belosonyan Gumedin, 1970. The man had no official residential registration in Russia. He wanted to attract attention to get at least some documents legalizing his stay in the country, Interfax reports.
