The Armenian National Congress is ready to cooperate with the Armenian authorities, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan told at today’s press conference, noting “It is possible to find some common points regarding the following: we are ready to negotiate with you and discuss your giving up power not to fully destroy the country. Armenian people will not get through the second March 1,” he said.

According to him, the opposition acts in accordance with the rules of democracy and human values, whereas authorities are above the law speaking in a language of force. They are forcing out democracy methods, he added. The ANC member deems authorities took a task to stand at the helm in every possible way. They think they can retain power with force and army, he concluded.
