Delivering a speech in Cyprus Armenian President gave precise assessments of relations between two states and situation in the countries, Lernik Aleksanyan, members of the Republican parliamentary group, told the journalists today.

“The President stressed that bileteral relations will further develop. As to the Armenian-Turkish relations, Serzh Sargsyan’s position is clear – unbiased talks without any preconditions should be held,” he stated.

He also commented on the assessments of Nagorno-Karabakh given by Freedom House. The republic was called unfree in the report. Aleksanyan stressed he disagrees with this assessment and called to be cautious in all processes referring to Karabakh not to jeopardize its security.
