Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze arrived in Azerbaijan on January 18, APA agency reports.

Vashadze will meet with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov, Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov and will be received by President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani mass media reports.

As NEWS.am reported previously, according to Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalantadze, the purchase of the Georgian section of the North-South gas main, supplying Russian gas to Armenia, by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will not be discussed during Vashadze’s visit.
