On January 22, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Head of RF President’s Administration Sergey Naryshkin in Baku.

“We highly appreciate the current level of bilateral cooperation in economic, political and humanitarian spheres,” RBK quotes Naryshkin.

According to him, many significant joint events have taken place in Russia and Azerbaijan this year, furthermore the 2nd Russia-Azerbaijan forum on humanitarian cooperation, to be held in Baku, September 2011.

Naryshkin arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the opening ceremony of a new building of Russian Information & Cultural Centre.
