Representatives of Security Council members and non-members held debates over Post-Conflicting Peace-Building at the UN session on January 21.

Armenia’s Ambassador to UN Karen Nazaryan participated in the discussions, foreign office press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. In his speech he mentioned that peculiarities of current situation should be considered while implementing peace-building. Reasons and consequences of the conflict should be taken into account to help the aggrieved nation.

In this context the crucial point is cooperation between governments, regional intergovernmental structures, international financial institutions and NGOs in joint efforts aimed at integration and peace-building, as well as stable development.
