Army Day is one of the most important holidays for Armenia, as the army is a guarantor of the Armenian people`s security, Vice-Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Samvel Nikoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him, the Armenian army is a full-fledged structure, as the Armenian people put all its energy into the army. "At present our army is efficient is never before, capable of accomplishing all its tasks," Nikoyan said.

All the attempts to discredit the Armenian army are doomed to failure. "Of course the army has problems, which must be resolved," he said.

On January 28, Armenia will celebrate the 19th anniversary of the national army.
