Aram Sahakyan, 23, an resident of Hrazdan city, survived a suicide attempt, a photojournalist Gagik Shamhsyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

The incident happened on January 19, at 10:30 p.m. Sahakyan tried to throw himself into Tsovinar Lake from the bridge. However, another resident of Hrazdan city Gnel Galsyan was able to stop him from committing a suicide. The reason was Sahakyan’s beloved girl Mariam O. had rejected him.

The police are investigating the suicide attempt.
