There are rumors about distributing bribes. I haven’t said, instructed anyone [to do] such a thing; they are unnecessary conversations.

Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman and tycoon MP, Gagik Tsarukyan, on Tuesday stated the aforesaid at his assembly with members of the PAP list for the forthcoming snap election of the capital city Yerevan Council of Elders.

“It’s teamwork; we have to work 15 days,” Tsarukyan said. “And the foundation is doing the organizational [work].

“There can be no word about [election] bribe; it’s ruled out. When the matter is put in the parliament, we [the Tsarukyan Faction in parliament] will vote for [it].

“The bribe-giver should be arrested and brought to account. The main [thing] is political ideas and approaches, and the work.”

The Yerevan municipal council voting is slated for September 23.

The election campaign season will start on September 10 and conclude on September 21.

Eight political parties and four blocs will run in the ballot vote.
