YEREVAN. – Mayoral candidate from “My Step” bloc Hayk Marutyan said he does not have any information whether former president Robert Kocharyan stands behind the candidate from Prosperous Armenia.

“I like to tell something based on facts, if I do have a fact, a paper or something, I can tell then,” he told reporters.

Asked whether anti-revolutionary forces are running in the elections, Marutyan said the political forces which want to be engaged in electoral fraud, election bribes, or other mechanisms can be deemed anti-revolutionary.

“If you ask me which political forces act this way, I do not know what to answer. But, they are aware, let them understand who they are. I know that these elections are the only fair and transparent elections over the last 20 years,” he said.
