YEREVAN.- The death of Charles Aznavour is a loss for the whole world, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told reporters on Monday.
He noted that Aznavour continued to create at the age of 94, filling the hearts of people with emotions, songs, and spirit. The minister recalled the concert a few years ago in New York. "The hall was full. For two hours Aznavour kept in suspense five thousand people. This was Charles Aznavour. Loving life, people, peace. He was the son and hero of Armenia, "the minister stressed.
“One of the world’s treasures, the legend, the son of Armenia and France passed away. Charles Aznavour touched the hearts of all generations in all the corners of the world. Charles is eternal."
