Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said he is not concerned over forthcoming trial he will stand on charges of paying for sex with underage and abuse of power, the Telegraph reported.

Talking to the journalists in Rome on Wednesday he refused to give any comments just saying he is not worried at all.

Meanwhile, the British Guardian wrote today the 17-aged girl, who allegedly got money from Berlusconi for having sex, said the Italian Prime Minister was aware of her age.

Italian Prime Minister’s trial is scheduled for April 6.Berlusconi faced allegations for having sex with Ruby, a 17-old belly dancer, but denies any connection. The prosecutors also accuse him of abuse of power, as he was trying to seek Ruby’s release when she was charged with theft.

Italians are discontent with Beruslconi’s behavior. Thousands of Italian women took to the streets on Sunday protesting against Premier Silvio Berlusconi’s conduct towards women. The protestors gathered under the slogan “if not now then when” demanded Premier’s resignation.

Last February Italian Prime Minister was invited to visit Armenia. Ambassador Ruben Karapetyan asked Italian official to extend Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi his Armenian counterpart Tigran Sargsyan’s invitation to visit Armenia. It is yet unclear whether the current developments will allow him to consider the invitation.
