The Armenian Opposition`s rally was over in Yerevan at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Chairman of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Ter-Petrosyan made a final speech. Aram Manukyan, Board Chairman, Armenian National Movement (ANM) thanked the supporters for participating in the action. He pointed out that Levon Ter-Petrosyan will set the dates for "more decisive actions."

The Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports that some of the ANC young members offered a sit-in, but the ANC leaders obviously consider it an untimely step.

The Opposition Leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan focused on the latest developments in Egypt. He said that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will share the fate of the overthrown president of Egypt Hosni Mubarak.

The ANC plans to hold its next meeting on March 1, the third anniversary of the tragic events in Yerevan, which claimed ten lives.
