The US national debt increased by two trillion dollars and reached a maximum in the last 70 years during the Presidency of Donald Trump, the Independent reported.
National debt amounted to $ 21.974 trillion as of the end of 2018. The Congressional Budget Office has estimated that the national debt amounts to 78% of the country's GDP, which is the highest figure since 1950.
According to Congress, by 2028 the size of the debt will reach 96% of GDP, if the situation remains unchanged.
