Maintaining power was a priority objective for every former government of Armenia, and the logic of all of their actions lied in this. This is what Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a discussion on the report on the government’s activities in 2018 at the National Assembly on 28 March.
According to the Prime Minister, this is exactly the reason why elections were falsified, people became political prisoners, corruption flourished, people were persecuted, etc. “I hope the Armenian public and the people know that maintaining power is not on this government’s agenda. It’s not a priority issue on my agenda and it’s not an issue at all, for that matter,” Pashinyan assured.
