Swiss mediation between Turkey and Armenia ended by signing of the protocols in October 2009. However, Switzerland is not indifferent about the ongoing processes between Armenia and Turkey, President of Swiss Confederation Micheline Calmy-Rey said in Yerevan.

She stressed Switzerland wants continuation of ratification process and is ready to do everything to encourage both states.

In the course of her two-day official visit to Armenia Micheline Calmy-Rey will hold meetings with the Armenian top officials and will visit the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to meet with Catholicos Karekin II.

She will also participate in the opening ceremony of Switzerland’s embassy in Yerevan.
