Armenian young chess players were defeated by Russian national team (1.5:2.5) in the fourth round of World Youth U16 Olympiad in Akhisar, September 24-October 3, 2009. Samvel Ter-Sahakyan won, Hayk Vardanyan ended in a draw and Vahe Baghdasaryan and Robert Aghasaryan lost.
Armenian chess players will face Hungarian national team in the next round.
The standings are as follows: India (13.5 points), Georgia (11), Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and England (10.5 points each).
