YEREVAN. – My former positions, or the ties due to it, have no and can’t have any impact on my current activities. Artur Goyunyan, Head of the Penitentiary Service of Armenia, said this at a press conference today.

"I’ve been no one’s man, I am a man of work, I have never been restrained, and I will never have that in the future, too, because I am not like that in character, and I do not think that a person who is 50 years old can change radically—and toward a negative side, at that,” he said. “I have never been involved in business; I have never been involved in ‘dark’ transactions. As a parent of many children and a grandfather of grandchildren, I even have no desire to get involved in ‘dark’ deals and tarnish my name."
