President of Russia Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan stand for peaceful resolution of all problems in the Persian Gulf that should be based on international law, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters.
As for regional problems, they discussed the situation that developed in the Persian Gulf “as a result of illegal and very risky actions of the United States against Iranian citizens in Iraq, including the IRGC commander Soleimani,” he said.
