Today Shrovetide is marked in Yerevan with a parade and celebration for the 7th time, according to the information department of the Araratian Pontifical Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church .
The celebration started with a parade from the Sarkis Church, the seat of the aforesaid diocese.
The participants are marching to Liberty Square where a big celebration will be held.
