The entertainment concert broadcast on Public Television on September 27 was a mistake, and we fully accept accountability for it. The state-funded Public Television of Armenia noted this in a statement Monday.

“We will not try to justify what happened with programmatic, technical or working circumstances. We apologize for what happened. Relevant working procedures are being reviewed to prevent a recurrence of such incidents,” the statement added.

On the sixth anniversary of the start of the 44-day war, the state-funded Public Television of Armenia had broadcast an entertainment concert by renowned singer Tata Simonyan, which had caused heated criticism among the Armenian public.
