Facebook has created a new version of Messenger for Apple’s iOS, the Independent reported.
Project LightSpeed app is faster, more compact and simpler, the company said. It will be introduced over the next few weeks.
According to the company, they reduced the base code of Messenger by 84% and rebuilt its functions in accordance with the new simplified infrastructure.
The company claimed, the app will load twice as fast and use a quarter of the space.
