YEREVAN. - Armenian News-NEWS.am conducted a survey among Armenian politicians on the occasion of the Radiant Resurrection of Christ.

According to survey, most of Armenian politicians are members of the Armenian Apostolic Church and attend church regularly. However, they are indifferent to religious holidays.

The MPs for example admit their being “sinful and mortal.” None of them fasted because of being busy.

MP Manvel Badeyan said that he is a “strong believer.”

“But, I am not without sins. I commit sins – may be daily,” he said.

Kotayk Governor Kovalenko Shahgeldyan is a churchgoer and attends the services. He has a habit of lighting eight candles for his 8-member family.

MP Vardan Aivazyan is a churchgoer, but he does not perform religious rites.

“I have a more secular approach,” he said.

The crossbencher Victor Dallakyan said he has been a churchgoer since he was four.
