Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez has declared a state of emergency due to the coronavirus.
In his televised address to the people, he stated that the country will be in a state of emergency for two weeks, reports AP.
Sanchez also stated that the government intends to protect all citizens and warned that the number of infected people may rise up to 10,000 by next week.
Spain has recorded 4,200 infections and 120 deaths.
