As a result of a tour of pharmacies yesterday, we recorded that there is a shortage of alcogel and alcohol in pharmacies. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this on Facebook livestream.

"I have found out that 11,000 liters of alcohol is processed in Armenia per day, about half of which goes to alcogel production," he added. "The pharmacies where there is no alcogel is evidence that we have been dealing with panic purchases in terms of alcogel, and our calculations, production and sales data show that a large amount of alcogel is accumulated in our compatriots' homes."

Pashinyan also said that a full amount of alcogel was being produced in the country.

Earlier, the prime minister informed that the number of people infected with coronavirus had reached 84 in Armenia, 444 people were quarantined, and 799 others were urged to self-quarantine.
