YEREVAN. - Armenia’s efforts in international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide are insufficient, Leader of People’s Party Tigran Karapetyan  said in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“We do not raise this issue officially. The Armenian Diaspora should be united and present the same demands. Diaspora achieves success as it brings collective requirements,” Karapetyan stated. He also noted that Armenia took a step back in international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide during the Armenian-Turkish normalization process.

According to him, the task was clearer before it. “The protocols slowed the process of genocide recognition,” he said.
