Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri left for Istanbul to attend Fourth United Nations Conference on Least Developed Countries, to be held on May 9-14.

During his visit, Gilauri will meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and representatives of business circles, Georgia online reports.

According to Turkish mass media, over 50 heads of states and 100 ministers are expected to attend the conference. Armenia and Israel will not participate in the conference.
