Buenos Aires Mayor Mauricio Macri declared Armenian Catholicos Garegin II an honorable citizen of Buenos Aires.
Catholicos thanked the city authorities for showing a care for the Armenian community. Garegin II participated in AGBU dinner devoted to the hundredth anniversary of local AGBU branch. He stressed that 80% of Armenian Church’s budget is composed of funds allocated by AGBU.
