YEREVAN. - Discussion on the topic 'Armenia-Turkey: Politics and press' will be held in Yerevan on May 17-18. Public figures and journalists from both countries will attend the event.
The participants will analyze the latest trends in Armenian-Turkish relations and their reflection in the media of the two countries.
The experts of Yerevan Press Club and Izmir University will present the preliminary results of research on undisclosed capacities stimulating Armenia-Turkey dialogue and the findings of research about media bias. Star Daily correspondent Elif Shagin will present the report “Situation in Turkey and forthcoming parliamentary elections.”
The discussion will be concluded on May 18 with award ceremony for active and qualitative coverage of Armenian-Turkish relations.
The event is organized by Eurasia Partnership Foundation, Yerevan Press Club, International Center for Human Development, and the Union of Industrials and Entrepreneurs of Armenia. The project is funded by USAID.
