Upon US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s initiative University of Florida, Yerevan State University and Turkish September 9th University are engaged in a joint project on tourism cooperation reports Turkish Milliyet.

First meeting of the parties took place in Izmir and in Istanbul. Armenian and Turkish teams are going to meet in Florida for the second meeting and in Yerevan for the third one. The program is designed for three years.

“Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs approved the project. In the framework of the program we will search for joint means of tourism development and “icebreaking” of relations with Armenia,” said September 9th University professor Ceyhan Aydemir.
