YEREVAN. – There are number of speculations concerning the amnesty offer submitted to the parliament by Armenian president Serz Sargsyan.

“Political atmosphere is chaotic on the amnesty issue. Most active are those political powers who want president and people split. Others want to build career on these seeming failures,” stated ruling MP Hovhannes Sahakyan without commenting who the persons are.

Amnesty is a humanitarian step, proper for the leader, he added.
