Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held private meetings with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Azeri President Ilham Aliyev in Italy.

Davutoglu led the Turkish delegation at the events dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the union of Italy.

In a conversation with Zaman newspaper, Davutoglu said he talked with Serzh Sargsyan in the bus for members of official delegations. However, the official did not disclose any details of his “short conversation” with the Armenian leader.

During the meeting with Aliyev, the officials had an in-depth discussion on Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian Presidents’ meeting in Kazan. “I was very happy Ilham Aliyev is optimistic about the prospects for the presidents’ meeting in Kazan,” Davutoglu said.
