Israel defense minister Benny Gantz's office said Israel has agreed to donate 5,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to Palestinians to immunize medical workers on the front lines, the Associated Press reported.
Earlier, the UN and human rights organizations criticized Tel Aviv as the state does not provide COVID-19 vaccines to Palestinians.
Now the country is one of the leaders in population vaccination, inoculating the population by the Pfizer and Moderna drugs.
The Palestinians have not yet begun vaccination.
