More than half of the 20,000,000 citizens of New Delhi are infected with the coronavirus. India has reported 10,800,000 coronavirus cases, but studies show that the real number is significantly greater and is close to the level of collective immunity.

“In the fifth sero survey done in the national capital of Delhi, antibodies have been detected in 56.13 % of population,” Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendar Jain tweeted after the study was released.

The results of the tests that Thyrocare Technologies has conducted among more than 700,000 citizens show that 55% of the population may have already been infected, Reuters reports.
